What's going on? A time for Action, a time for Reflection!

Grads to focus on the question: what change would you like to see in the next five years’ time? This can be focused on the topic agreed i.e. Mental Health. (e.g. ‘I’d like to make sure that everyone who needs help is supported ’) Grads collect the answers to this through photographs, through holding up designed signs, or through writing them down and then photographing them. These photographs are uploaded on social media (with the hashtag #ncsactionday and @NCSEM1 and @Catch22 will be tagged or mentioned) Grads then come together to write a pledge – what are you going to do individually to make sure this happens? (e.g. “We’re going to always raise awareness of Mental Health and promote discussions about perceptions of being “normal” in an aim to reduce stigmatisation promoting services that can help”) Grads then decorate their time capsule with the pledge – the most creative wins a prize. They then upload photographs of this pledge to social media (with the hashtag #ncsactionday and @NCSEM1 and @Catch22 will be tagged or mentioned) In advance of the day we’ll be asking people on social media to vote from a shortlist of what change people would like to see in the next five years, to promote what the team are doing Throughout the day we’ll be sharing the best selection of tweets on the main Catch22 twitter and Facebook page. Time capsules and the findings along with pledges and changes they would like to see are then buried and a date is set to open and review in the future
